An exciting postdoctoral project is available to study synapse formation and maturation in the developing mouse cochlea. The successful candidate will be jointly mentored by Drs. Mirna Mustapha and Stefan Heller and the work will be conducted in the Mustapha and Heller laboratories at Stanford University.


Candidates should have a recent PhD or will complete their degree in the next months. We require strong work ethics, creativity, and ability to independently implement new technologies. The project involves mouse genetics, single cell transcriptomics, computational analysis of transcriptome data, and microscopic imaging, among other methods.


Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.  Applicants who contribute to diversity, broadly defined, are encouraged to apply.
